About Us
The University Transition and Orientation Programme (PORT-UIB) aims to provide future UIB students with advice about their academic and professional pathway, with a view to promoting a diversity of interests, abilities and motivations. It is a free, confidential and individual service.

Our Services
If you need more information after consulting with your school adviser, you may use our services aimed at:
- Providing the necessary strategies to make decision, with regard to:
- self-awareness
- awareness of how the education system works
- entry and pathways into the working world
- Helping students clarify objectives and opportunities
- Clearing up any queries from family members
- Making the relevant referrals based on requirements
- Providing support with study techniques and time management.

- Over-25s, -40s and -45s
- Students who decide to drop out of their degree programme
- Families.
