The University Transition and Orientation Programme (PORT-UIB) aims to provide future UIB students with advice about their academic and professional pathway, with a view to promoting a diversity of interests, abilities and motivations. It is a free, confidential and individual service.

If you need more information after consulting with your school adviser, you may use our services aimed at:

  • Providing the necessary strategies to make decision, with regard to:
    • self-awareness
    • awareness of how the education system works
    • entry and pathways into the working world
  • Helping students clarify objectives and opportunities
  • Clearing up any queries from family members
  • Making the relevant referrals based on requirements
  • Providing support with study techniques and time management.
